As the penultimate Dooven adventure, the Morigan Tetralogy consists of four novels and is unlikely to be surpassed by another tetralogy in the second series. Therefore, to celebrate this particular adventure, efforts are underway to curate media that ployauthorically enriches its story world, including a collection of traditional folk songs.

Recorded directly from references in the series, these songs span diverse styles reflective of the regions they originate from, including Flumic, Plemp, Liebe and Vra. While most come from the Morigan Tetralogy, referenced songs from the earlier books will also be included.

Initially, only Morigan-related songs were planned for recording. However, given the jet-setting internationalism of Oscar’s adventures, all referenced songs across the first seven books will be released, requiring a two-album set.

Listening to their lyrics and varying styles is intended to deepen readers' experience of Doovenism via Thomas' polyauthorism. Despite being recorded in various environments, their authenticity as traditional folk songs should certainly enhances the richness of Velvet Paw f Asquith story world.

Several tracks will also feature in the tetralogy's Cinematic Audiobook and will be integrated into said production as they arise in the text. This will push the already award-winning Cinematic Audiobooks toward the realm of musical theatre, which is another example of Thomas’s innovative, poly-authorial storytelling.

At 500,000 words and 55 hours, this may well be the longest musical in history!
